A few days ago, I met a friend and talking about various things I said in Gorizia c 'was a boy in gambissima that had recently opened a Enosteria (the term enosteria I soon became friendly) in a beautiful street in the historic center , via Ascoli, where there is also the Jewish synagogue.
L 'Enosteria is called "The People" and is managed by Aurelio, but the thing that intrigued me most and that Aurelio had just opened a blog .... Well, I just had to know!
So I went to him and talking, talking is coming off a 'initiative, which was organizing .... a series of events, some had as main theme of the kitchen, other music and other yet the 'art (by the way, I also speak of a wonderful initiative which I attended in Medan in Slovenia ... if I can maybe tomorrow)
Well, I mean after talking and talking ... in the end we decided to do something together, so Saturday, July 15, at 21:00 there will be wines Gradnik together with the works of Donald Zollia Rojc.

'm back :-)

In fact I feel a little 'guilty, the adventure has just begun and now blog .... suspended for a little while!
But lately there have been lots of news and a lot of events that led me into a whirlwind ... then time = 0 for me !!!!!!
The positive side is that, as usual, Open Cellars has been a huge success, very many people that every year come to see me ... but also a lot of new people, curious and enthusiastic about my beloved basement (cellar to worship me referring to a particular area, where I like to welcome the guests :-))
Another wonderful event was the meeting in Tigullio, I know, I should talk about it even before you take part ... but it goes well, next time I better organizer!
Learn how to use the blog, in fact it was not hard .... but you needed some 'time to devote my time and now, as I said before, is already provided to other things, the most important thing?? Planting
Malvasia .... I'm so happy, because I love the Malvasia and tomorrow will plant another 100 plants :-)

The Collio DOC area of \u200b\u200bthe history

Collio develops in the northern part of the province of Gorizia. The climate is among the myths: the winter is the driest period, precipitation records copious spring, the summer is warm, breezy and cool autumn is not excessive. A decisive influence on the microclimate is determined by the proximity of the sea. The soils are formed by alternating layers of marl and sandstone. The
"Ponk" is precisely the word that defines the Friuli marl that crumbles easily into scaly fragments - in response to atmospheric phenomena - to dissolve in the clay soil. The marls are rich in calcium, potassium and phosphorus, the sandstone, however, is composed largely of silica and a small amount of limestone. From a morphological point of view Collio is characterized by gentle slopes, which rarely exceed 200 meters. In order to arrest the corrosion of the land we used to terraces, which are identified in Friulian word "Ronco". The soils of sandstone, with a more compact and rugged morphology, are bound to the wood. Modern viticulture began in mid-nineteenth century thanks to the Count The tour, which introduced high-quality grape varieties from France and Germany to replace the local varieties of lower quality. End point of this continuous evolution of viticulture, is the Presidential Decree of 24.5.68, which was recognized through the wines of the Collio, one of the first d 'Italy, the DOC, a total of sixteen wines (four red white and twelve ) must be made with absolute purity from grapes of high quality, which may not exceed the small quantity of 110 tons and for
