Back to the Serra Ciavole

Again on the Ciavole Serra, after a couple of years. Soon after my return to the country. The occasion me Pino has given his friend, who wanted to explore new landscapes of our mountain. It was only up and wanted to see Serra di Crispo Ciavole of Serra. So today I go to the Mountain areas as a guide. I must not only identify the path ... the path leading to contemplate the beauty of our mountains. Meet its goal because the result of this excursion is that Pino has been bewitched by the beauty of these rugged landscapes and enigmatic. I know these mountains very well but every time is like seeing something new. The landscape of peaks changes, even if subtly. Loricati shot down by the violence of the lightning, loricati going off slowly, the dead remain in feet, white as ghosts to witness their passage over the world, pine crumble with the passing of years to return arid rock.
Loricati majestic, alive and well, the heroes remain free from the battles. A unique landscape of the Serra of Ciavole, which delights and amazes. We started from the Shrine, we went through the woods of "Porcaru" with monumental beech trees that blend with the rocks, and we took the classic route. The source of Frido. Every so often I stop and uprooting some plants with a knife in the mountains. I will give to my mother that trapianterà will close the other "captive" in the vessels. It just a very small and then the vessels will grow by itself, will become enormous. Nice to have them close to home. They remind me of the mountain air. Along the trail we also found fungi: a fir and beech trees of various mushrooms. Today, flocks of swifts circling low, skimming our heads. It 'a show that you can see also in this period. We reach the summit of grassland and here we are at the top. Pino looks really excited. His reaction is somewhere between amazement and wonder. The landscape that can be enjoyed from here is superb. We face the Dolcedoreme. We can clearly see the north ridge, we will do in the next excursion.
Below us lies the Piana del Pollino and the cows look like white worms that move slowly. We lie just beyond the summit to eat. There are other hikers on the top.
known a guy with a beard, which I think I have seen on the Internet. I admit it is a friend of falcotrek, one of my blogger friends who share the passion for the network routes and landscapes of our mountain. The world of true lovers of the mountains is not so large and the peaks at the end sooner or later we find ourselves. How does the hiking in the internet ... I'm going to talk to them, I say that India and recognize me. With my blog I am made myself some "fame" ... Falcotrek's friends say that he was there but then could not come. We greeted each other after talking on the phone ... We are at a bit 'behind the twins loricati dry and then take the way back. Three or four crows circling curious and seem to observe. Now continue the path along the ridge, through other visions of spectacular wilderness. I notice a succulent plant that seems very rare. Pick would be a sacrilege! Here is the loricato dry in the middle of that huge round rock. Here are loricati bent by the wind on the ridge line. The white skeleton of dry pine branches that are projected on a green background plans Pollino. Here live side by side of life and death: death in this case does not negate the substance of the material presence. Perhaps for this reason we often talk of "living fossils" of the pines about ... loricati
